Lisbon Ad School is an advertising creativity school that always primes for its different, but efficient, methods of teaching. TORKE was asked to think of something to show this positioning in a non-traditional way, in order to show future students that this is the school they belong to.
Looking at all international advertising awards shows, we realized not even one has a “Guerrilla” category. So, why not create the first international award show for Guerrilla Marketing only? With this concept, the Croquette Awards Festival was created and agencies from all over the world as well as individuals could apply for dozens of categories. And why Croquette? Well, we felt like mocking all those fancy events. And where should this festival take place? On the street, namely one of Lisbon´s most famous trams – number 15. In its first year, more than 150 applications were registered and the event counted with people from all over the world as well as a performance from the band Shivers.
